Pet of the Week: Fergie

Get to know Fergie, our Pet of the Week!

This nearly three-year-old staffy girl is full of enthusiasm! She loves to play, go for long walks, and swim. At 45 pounds, she’s considered a medium breed dog.

Fergie’s foster family says she’s a sweet and loyal girl who wants to be near her people all the time. She enjoys cuddling on the couch and playing tug-o-war for as long as you’re willing. Fergie loves people, and is always meeting new friends. She’s also very treat motivated, and has been working on learning more commands.

Due to her high energy, Fergie would do best in an adults-only home, or one with older children. She would also prefer to be the only dog in her new home.

Do you think Fergie is as fantastic as we do? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. During our “Stars, Stripes, and Second Chances” adoption special this month, you can adopt Fergie or any dog for just $50. In addition to gaining a new best friend, all pet adopters at RASKC get the opportunity to enroll in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes! Also, thanks to our friends at Rover, all dog adopters at RASKC get a $40 voucher toward training.

Come take a look at all the awesome animals waiting for their “fur-ever” homes at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
