Pet of the Week: Frankie

Let’s welcome Frankie, our Pet of the Week!

This three-year-old pittie boy may look a little rough, but don’t let looks fool you – he’s feeling great! Frankie has dermatitis, which caused some hair loss. Our staff and volunteers have been treating him with medication and skin care, and he’s already improved a lot since coming in to the Pet Adoption Center.

Frankie is about 60 pounds, making him a large breed dog. He is all about affection, both giving and receiving. He will happily cuddle up with you, soak you with pittie kisses, and absorb all the attention. He is a neat boy, and keeps his space clean. He’s also gentle with toys, walks well on a leash, and is potty trained.

While he does have limited eyesight, that doesn’t slow Frankie down! He loves walks, treats, and playtime just as much as any other dog. In short, Frankie is a sweet, easy-going, loyal companion just waiting for the right people to take him home.

Frankie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, Frankie’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

Thanks to our friends at Rover, all dog adopters at RASKC get a $40 voucher toward training. Frankie’s new family can also benefit from enrolling him in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes!
