Pet of the Week: Heath
Look at this handsome gentleman! This is Heath, our Pet of the Week!
This young doberman mix came to us via a good Samaritan in late March. At almost 100 pounds, Heath is considered a large breed dog.
Heath is a very smart boy, which isn’t surprising given his breed’s guarding and herding background. While at the Pet Adoption Center, Heath has been learning his commands like “sit” and “shake.” He’s bursting with energy, and loves to play. He also has a very affectionate side, and would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home.
Given his size and energy level, Heath would probably do best in an adults-only home, or one with older children. He is still working on his manners, but is eager to learn. Heath does best when he gets lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy.
If you’re ready to meet Heath, Heath is ready for you! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, Heath’s adoption fee is reduced but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
