Pet of the Week: Reggie

Please give a hearty welcome to Reggie, our Pet of the Week!

This five-year-old pittie mix was brought in by a good Samaritan in mid-January. At about 87 pounds, Reggie is considered a large breed dog.

Reggie is a very affectionate boy who loves sitting in your lap while being showered with love. He also loves treats, which may be why he’s a bit “chonky.” Reggie would benefit from some weight loss. If you adopt him, your veterinarian can recommend a diet plan to help him shed a few pounds. Reggie is a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality, so he’s one of our Rambunctious Red pets. He would do best in a home where he can get lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy. Reggie would also do best in a home without children.

Reggie is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion, and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Reggie’s adoption fee has been reduced, but note that a pet license fee may still apply.
