Pet of the Week: Isla

¡Qué bonita! Isla is our Pet of the Week!

This one-year-old Great Dane/pit mix came to us in late January. At 66 pounds, she’s considered a large breed dog.

Isla is a huge fan of treats and toys! She loves them so much, she will happily sit, give you her paw, lay down, and roll over for them. Isla is a sweet girl, with a lot of energy, so she’s one of our Rambunctious Red personality pets. She does best when she gets lots of exercise and activities to keep her active mind busy.

Isla is still young, so she needs help with her best doggy manners. She would do best in a home where her people can work with her to become the best dog she can be.

If you’re looking for a fun, friendly, goofy dog to join your pack, come visit Isla! She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion, and a lifetime discount on online training through GoodDog. As our Pet of the Week, Isla’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

We have dozens of great dogs, cats, and other critters at the Pet Adoption Center ready to go home with you! We’re open for walk-in adoptions from noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends. We’re located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Find out about all the adoptable animals we have available at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
