Help us find a special home for a special boy: Jerry!

Jerry has been with us for quite a while, and he’s not even two years old. He’s a sweetheart, but he’s already been returned twice because he needs a lot of training, patience, and exercise. He’s the kind of dog that needs lots of stimulation, and lots of room to run to burn off energy.

Jerry is definitely a “Rambunctious Red” personality pet – no other dogs in the home, and definitely no cats. We also suggest no children, as Jerry is big and powerful.

If we can’t find an adoptive home, we’re hoping to find a rescue, a foster, or a board and train facility that can help get Jerry out of the shelter so he can thrive. Jerry gets stressed out in his kennel, and that can lead to some unwanted behavior. Jerry is very treat motivated, and loves puzzles, Kongs, and lick mats with peanut butter.

Please share Jerry’s story, and look for his profile on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. We’d love to be able to share Jerry as one of our RASKC Happy Tails soon!
