Pet of the Week: Nico
Say hello to Nico, our Pet of the Week!
This seven-year-old was brought in by an Animal Control Officer in late January. Nico is an independent kitty who likes to do his own thing. But, when he does want affection, he prefers head scratches… they feel so good!
Nico is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow, so he’s one of our “Bashful Blue” personality pets. He may get nervous in new situations, so Nico would like a family that understands he might need some time to warm up. Once Nico gets to know you, he will be a very devoted friend! Before Nico arrived at the Pet Adoption Center, he lived with many cats and seemed to get along with them. When meeting cats in his new home, Nico would do best with a slow introduction.
Can you give Nico the loving home he craves? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since Nico is our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Visit kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet to learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license.
Nico has many friends also waiting for their forever homes. See their profiles at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet or meet them in person at the Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends. If you have questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
