We’d like to introduce you to our Pet of the Week: Larusso!

This two-year-old male black Siberian Husky/Pit Bull dog mix was brought in by a good Samaritan on February 4, 2023. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

He is an independent boy who likes to do his own thing! He is a bundle of energy and loves to play. He tends to calm down more when the people around. He does best when he has lots of exercise and something to keep his mind busy. He has a BLUE personality. He is a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. He has a bit of a shy side and may get nervous in new situations, so he is looking for a family who understands that he might take some time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, he will be a very devoted friend. He would also do best in a calm, quiet home with older children.

Larusso’s adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. He was nominated for Pet of the Week on March 7, 2023. This means that Larusso’s adoption fee has been reduced! Please note that a pet license is a requirement and therefore a fee may be applied. This helps his safe return home should he become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more. Visit kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet to learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license.

Larusso has many friends also waiting for their forever homes. During the month of March, you can adopt an adult dog for just $50! See the profiles at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet or meet them in person at the Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.
