Pet of the Week: Mystique

Get to know Mystique, our Pet of the Week!

Mystique is a four-year-old female German Shepherd dog, weighing about 80lbs (ID #A667627). She was brought in by a good Samaritan on July 6. She has been adopted and brought back a few time because she wasn’t the right fit for those families. She is still looking for her forever family; one who will love and accept her for the great dog she is! She is a sweet girl in need of consistency and supportive training. Does that sound like you?

Mystique is a very smart dog. At the shelter she is practicing how to “sit” and “shake.” She really likes people, but also has an independent side. Caregivers have observed that she might not get along with other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog in a new home or will need a very slow introduction to other dogs. She has met older children during her time at RASK and has done great with them!

She has a RED personality. She is a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! She is still working on her manners, so she would do best with a family who is willing to work her and help her become the best dog she can be!

If you’re looking for a devoted friend, Mystique is the one for you! Mystique is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Mystique’s adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. And since she is our Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is reduced! Note that a pet license fee may still apply. Learn all about the benefits of pet licensing at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
