Pet of the Week: Jazzadelic

Bring a bit of joy into your life with Jazzadelic, our Pet of the Week!

This young male tabby was brought in by a good Samaritan in early August. Jazzadelic is an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home. He has lots of energy, and also an independent streak where he likes to do his own thing sometimes. He has an Easy-Going Green personality, outgoing and carefree. He just can’t wait to find his forever home!

Jazzadelic has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus or FIV. This infection is transmitted between cats – it doesn’t affect humans or other animals. FIV is a lifelong infection with no cure. With proper management and regular veterinary care, FIV+ kitties can live for many years in good health. Jazzadelic is currently being treated for an ear infection in both ears, and was given a long lasting antibiotic injection for some minor scabs. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. As with any pet, please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

Are you ready to jump into Jazzadelic’s life? He is neutered, litterbox trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Jazzadelic’s adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. And since he is our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee is reduced! Note that a pet license fee may still apply. Learn all about the benefits of pet licensing at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
