Pet of the Week: Asparagus
We’re serving up Asparagus for our Pet of the Week!
This five-year-old kitty was brought in by one of our animal control officers in November after her owner sadly passed away.
While Asparagus is a little shy at first, once she warms up to you she becomes an affectionate lovebug! Caregivers at the Pet Adoption Center have noticed that Asparagus does not get along with other cats, so she will need to be the only cat in her new home.
Her personality color is “Rambunctious Red,” meaning she is a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality who likes to get attention on her own terms. Asparagus may be sensitive to handling, so she would do best with a cat-savvy family who knows when to give her some space.
Asparagus is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. A generous donor has already paid the adoption fee so that Asparagus could find her fur-ever home faster!
