Pet of the Week: Gracie
Do you have room in your heart and home for a senior? Meet Gracie, our Pet of the Week!
This brown tabby cat was brought in by her previous owner in January because they could no longer care for her. Gracie is an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home. Because of her shy nature and older age, Gracie would do best in a calm, quiet home – so she’s one of our “Bashful Blue” pets.
Gracie is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. She may get nervous in new situations, so she is looking for a family who understands that she might need some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you, Gracie will be a very devoted friend!
A veterinarian at RASKC performed surgery on Gracie to remove bladder stones. She has been prescribed a special diet that will help to prevent formation of bladder stones in the future. Gracie will need regular care with a veterinarian to monitor her condition.
Gracie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she is our Pet of the Week, Gracie’s adoption fee has been waived! However, please note that a pet license is a requirement and therefore a fee may be applied. This helps her safe return home should she become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home, and more!
