How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: There’s “definitely no in-person graduation. And I won’t get to really be with my friends.”

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: Rather than “a graduation ceremony for all seniors to walk, we will walk across a smaller stage individually where our family can witness it. I personally think this takes some of the pressure off of graduation, so I am not too disappointed. My graduating class has done so much in addition to completing around 13 years of schooling, and I don’t think anything could take that away.”

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: “My school is holding a drive through graduation, and people will be decorating their cars to celebrate!”

Hoping this will continue post-pandemic: “I hope that people continue to be extra-aware about their own health and the practices they take to avoid getting themselves and others sick, like washing hands regularly and wearing masks when sick.”

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: I think “my school’s graduation this year will try to be as normal as possible, but with somewhat limited attendance and everyone wearing masks.”

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: “During the pandemic, I have to do online classes and the situation forced me to study only at my house. It was really hard to focus. It was an extremely hard year, but I was able to Ingenuity my way to study and able to change many ways of studying style. I was planning to go to South Africa for a veterinary volunteering program and work lab assistant at UC Davis in the summer, however, it was canceled due to COVID. Thankfully, I was able to work instead as a veterinary assistant at Jet City Animal Clinic in Seattle. I learned many things. I really admire the work style of the clinic and people with how they cooperate and have good teamwork.”

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: “I took many of my classes online, so the way I interacted with my classmates and teachers was different. But I got to participate in in-person graduation, so that’s exciting. Due to COVID, this opportunity is so precious :)”
