Pet of the Week: Radish

She’s got a spicy name, but she’s actually very sweet – say hello to Radish, our Pet of the Week!

This eight-year-old German Shepherd dog came in to the Pet Adoption Center in mid-April as a stray, picked up by one of our animal control officers. At 95 pounds, Radish is considered a large breed dog.

Radish is a sweet, mellow lady looking for a home to enjoy her golden years. Some of her favorite things are basking in the sun, playing with her toys, and spending time with her people. Radish loves to soak up pets and “scritches.” She also enjoys leisurely walks, relaxing, and watching the world around her.

Are you ready to fall in love with this awesome girl? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, you can take Radish home for just $50, which includes a King County pet license (if applicable). Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

Adopting a pet from RASKC is always a great value. Along with a companion for life, dog adopters can get a $40 coupon toward training from our partners at Rover. All adopters can also benefit from enrolling their new friend in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes!
