Pet of the Week: Marge

Want a cat that’s large and in charge? Meet Marge, our Pet of the Week!

This five-year-old brown and white tabby girl is affectionate and talkative, though she does have a shy side. Marge enjoys tasty snacks and playtime.

Marge is a very observant girl, and may need some time to get used to new people. She is also a bit overweight, so it would be best to limit treats until she sheds a pound or two. Marge came to us with some hair loss, but we don’t know what caused it – it could be a flea allergy, some other allergy, or overgrooming due to stress. Her fur is coming back, though we do recommend that she remain on a flea treatment. Marge also has some mild to moderate tartar buildup on her teeth. Consult with your regular veterinarian to help manage health issues.

Do you have room in your heart and home for Marge? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including an invitation for Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes!

As our Pet of the Week, Marge’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
