Pet of the Week: Snoopy

He’s not a beagle, but he’s still a very handsome boy – meet Snoopy, our Pet of the Week!

This three-year-old pittie came to us in early November because his previous family was no longer able to care for him. At 63 pounds, Snoopy is considered a large breed dog.

Snoopy loves treats, and will “sit” and “shake” for them. He’s a little shy at first, but does warm up to new people quickly. He loves going for walks, and he’s got the strength and stamina to keep going for a long time – that makes him one of our Rambunctious Red personality pets. He’s not a fan of other dogs, so Snoopy will have to be an “only dog” in his new home. He’s low maintenance and very sweet, and will be a very devoted friend who will give you a lot of attention!

Are you ready to fall in love with Snoopy? He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion, and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. During our “Name Your Price” promotion this month, you can decide what you’d like to pay for Snoopy’s adoption fee – it could even be free! (Note that a pet license fee may still apply.) Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
