Pets of the Week: Jet and Jane
We have a “two-fer” for Pet of the Week this time – meet Jet and Jane!
These two-year-old black domestic short hair rabbits came to the Pet Adoption Center in mid-April. They are bonded sisters and love to do everything together! Jet and Jane eat, nap, play… even poop together! They would love a forever home where they can spend the rest of their days together with a loving family.
Like most rabbits, Jet and Jane are intelligent and complex, and don’t enjoy being picked up or held. The best way to bond with a rabbit is to spend time with them on the floor and shower them with plenty of greens and timothy hay. Since they are domestic rabbits, it’s recommended that they be kept indoors. The nice thing about that is that Jet and Jane can come out of their cage for bunny playtime in a rabbit-proof area of your home. It’s during these supervised playtimes that rabbits exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors.
Adopting Jet and Jane comes comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since they are our Pet of the Week pick, their adoption fee is reduced.
