Pet of the Week: Ryoko

This bundle of energy is our Pet of the Week – meet Ryoko!

Ryoko is a six-year-old lab/whippet mix. She came to RASKC in mid-October thanks to a good Samaritan. She is 55 pounds of energy and loves to play – that’s why she’s one of our Rambunctious Red personality pets. Ryoko is still working on her best doggie manners, so she would do best with a family that is willing to work with her and help her become the best dog she can be.

Ryoko does best when she gets lots of exercise and has something to keep her active mind busy. She’s also an affectionate lovebug, and would enjoy hanging out with you at home. She tends to be calmer when the people around her stay calm.

Ryoko is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. And because she’s our Pet of the Week, Ryoko’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Visit kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet to learn about all the benefits a pet license brings.

If you think Ryoko would be a good fit for you and your family, you can visit her at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. You can also see Ryoko’s profile, along with that of all our adoptables, at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions, we welcome you to reach out to us by calling 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
