Pet of the Week: Rocky

Yo, Adrian… check out Rocky, our Pet of the Week!

This young boxer mix was brought in by one of our animal control officers in mid-October. Since he’s still young, Rocky has a lot of energy, so he’s one of our Rambunctious Red personality pets. Here at the Pet Adoption Center, this gorgeous boy has been showing off his smarts, practicing how to “sit” and “shake.” He loves to play, and also enjoys walks – though he may pull initially, he settles down quickly.

Rocky is a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality. He does best when he has lots of exercise and activities to keep his active mind busy. Caregivers have noticed that Rocky might not get along with other dogs, so he may do best as an only dog in his new home or need a slow introduction to other dogs. Rocky is also still working on his manners, so he would benefit from a family willing to work with him to help him become the best dog he can be.

Ready to fly high with Rocky? He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Rocky’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about the benefits of having a properly-licensed pet at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
