Pet of the Week: Princess
This girl will bring a regal presence to your home – meet Princess, our Pet of the Week!
This one-year-old pittie was brought in by an animal control officer in late April. She lived outside her whole life before coming to RASKC, so she is still learning basic doggie manners. Princess gets so excited when people come to see her that she may jump on them – so she’s definitely one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets.
Princess is a very sweet girl and loves affection and treats – she will even “sit” for them! She is a pretty independent dog who would do best in a home without other animals, and would prefer either an adults-only home or one with older children. Princess is still working on her manners, so she would love a family willing to work with her to become the best dog she can be.
Ready to welcome Princess into your castle? She is spayed, potty trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Like all pets adopted from RASKC, her adoption comes with 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. And since she is our Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about the benefits of pet licensing at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
Come visit Princess, or any of our adoptable pets, at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Walk-in adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. Visit our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet to learn more about our adoption processes. If you have questions, reach out to us at pets@kingcounty.gov or call 206-296-7387 (PETS).
