Pet of the Week: Jinxie
It’s time for our Pet of the Week – meet Jinxie!
This ten-year-old female tabby was brought in by her previous family in late March because they could no longer care for her.
Jinxie has a “Bashful Blue” personality, meaning she likes to take things slow. She likes getting attention on her own terms, and can get overstimulated with petting. Her new family will need to keep an eye out for signs that she might need a break.
Jinxie is a gentle and loving cat, but may get nervous in new situations, so she will need some time to warm up to you. Once she gets to know you, Jinxie will be a very devoted friend! Because of her shy nature, Jinxie would do best in a calm and quiet home.
If you think Jinxie would make the purrfect addition to your family, come visit her! Jinxie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she is our Pet of the Week, Jinxie’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits of pet licensing at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
