Pet of the Week: Sid
Say hello to Sid, our Pet of the Week!
This young pittie was brought in by a good Samaritan in November 2021. As you can see from his picture, he loves to play outside, even in the cold and snow. Since he is so full of playful energy, Sid is one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets.
Sid is an independent dog who likes to do his own thing, and may do best as the only dog in his new home. He is very active, but tends to calm down when the people around him stay calm. Sid would love a home where he can get lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy.
Sid is still working on his best doggy manners, and would benefit from a family that can work with him to be the best dog he can be. He has been known to resource guard, displaying behavior that is intended to convince other dogs or humans to stay away from a particular treasure. If you adopt Sid, you will benefit from in-home guidance to help to manage and improve this behavior.
Can you give this young boy the home he needs? Sid is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since he is our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee has been reduced. However, a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the great benefits of having a licensed pet at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
