Pet of the Week: Spuds
Looking for a bud to spend some time with? Then let us introduce you to Spuds, our Pet of the Week!
This handsome boy was brought in by a good Samaritan in late July. He is an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home. Spuds personality color is “Easy Going Green,” meaning he is an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow. He just can’t wait to find his forever home!
The vet staff at RASKC would like you to know that Spuds had a very weak positive test for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). Cats with FeLV can still live fulfilling lives, but extra care may be required. Additionally, he was diagnosed with kidney disease. This condition can be managed with special diet and medication. As with any pet, regular veterinary visits are always recommended.
Spuds is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. And since he’s our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee has been reduced! (A pet license fee may still apply.)
You can find out more about Spuds and all his other friends waiting for their forever homes on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. Adoptions are done by appointment only, so make your reservation online. If you have more questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
