Say hello to Jeremiah, our Pet of the Week!

This sweet boy was originally adopted from RASKC in 2018, but unfortunately his human could no longer keep him. Jeremiah is a shy kitty who likes to do his own thing – including finding the best hiding spots! He is starting to warm up to people, but still needs some time and patience. Since he’s a bit reserved, Jeremiah is one of our “Bashful Blue” pets, meaning he may get nervous in new situations and likes to take things slow. Give him some time to warm up to you, though, and Jeremiah will be a devoted loving companion. He especially likes petting on his big cheeks!

Jeremiah has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Cats with FIV can still live long fulfilling lives, but extra care may be required. Our staff will be happy to discuss his needs when you come in to visit. Because Jeremiah is FIV+, he should be an indoor-only cat.

Like all pets from RASKC, Jeremiah is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Because he is the Pet of the Week, his adoption fee is waived – a pet license fee may still apply. His adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.
