Pet of the Week: Oreo
Here’s a sweet treat for Pet of the Week – meet Oreo!
This older black and white boy is a real sweetheart. His personality color is “Bashful Blue,” meaning he is a gentle and loving guy who likes to take things slow. Oreo is very affectionate and just loves to hang out with his favorite people! He particularly enjoys getting head scratches and playing with wand toys.
After having some litter box issues in his previous home, Oreo was diagnosed with a urinary tract disease. This is being managed through a prescription diet and reducing stress in the household. His foster mom reports that he is doing fantastic and has not had any accidents.
Oreo has lived with children and other cats in the past, and he seems to do well with them. He has also lived with a dog before and would probably be okay with a respectful dog. He would do best with a slow introduction when meeting any other pets in his new home.
Like all pets from RASKC, Oreo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. As Pet of the Week, Oreo’s adoption fee has been waived! (A pet license fee may still be required.)
