Pet of the Week: Leo

Looking for a spunky, spirited boy? Look no further than Leo, our Pet of the Week!

This border collie/Boston terrier mix is waiting for his forever home. He was brought in by his previous family because he had a tendency to run off property. (A well-fenced yard at his new home would be good.)

Leo has lived in a home with children. And while Leo can be shy, he is also outgoing, loving and playful! He also has an independent streak and at times likes to do his own thing, which is why we’ve dubbed him one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets. Because of his shy nature, Leo would do best in a calm, quiet home with older children. Leo is also still working on his doggy manners, and would thrive with a family who is willing to work with him and help him become the best dog he can be!

Leo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.

Interested in adopting Leo? You can find out more about him on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or come visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
