Pet of the Week: Chester
Young-at-heart Chester is our Pet of the Week!
This handsome senior orange tabby is an affectionate lovebug. Chester has great muscle tone and a luxurious coat. He is a little prone to overstimulation, but does love to be petted and will give you a friendly swishy tail alert when he’s ready for a break.
Chester was brought in by his previous family because he didn’t get along with the baby in the house. His previous family says he has a dog-like personality and likes to nibble and lick everything. He is very loving, and “every stranger is a friend he just hasn’t met yet.”
While Chester lived with other cats and young children, it wasn’t a good fit for him. He may do best as the only kitty in his new home, and no children. Chester has a “Rambunctious Red” personality. He is a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality. While he can get a bit overstimulated at times, he does love attention and will often bamboozle you into snuggles and pets.
Chester is neutered, litter box trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.
This big fella has a lot of love left to give! Could it be with you? You can find out more about Chester at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. To see him in person, visit our Eastside Pet Adoption Center located inside the Kirkland Petco, 12040 NE 85th St.
