Pet of the Week: Annie
The sun is out for Annie, our Pet of the Week!
This young Chinese Shar-pei/Pit Bull mix was a little shy when she first arrived, but her caregivers were patient and took time to get to know her. Once she realized how much they cared for her, Annie opened right up! She also has velvety soft fur that everyone loves to snuggle!
Annie may not get along with other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog in her new home, or at least needs to meet any current dogs before being adopted. Because of her shy nature, Annie would do best in a calm, quiet home with older children.
Annie has a “Bashful Blue” personality, meaning she’s gentle and loving, and likes to take things slow. Annie may get nervous in new situations and needs a family who understands she may take some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you though, she will be a very devoted friend and affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!
Annie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.
You can find out more about Annie on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or you can visit her at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
