Pet of the Week: Beau
Sweet senior Beau is our Pet of the Week!
This handsome boy is gentle and loving, and likes to take things slow. He may get nervous in new situations, and is looking for a family who understands he may need some time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, though, Beau will be a very devoted friend!
And don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t take a cat for a walk! Beau is learning to walk on a cat harness and leash. Our volunteers take him for strolls around the cat adoption area, and he is getting used to exploring on the harness. While Beau has lived in a home with other cats and dogs, as well as children, he can be a bit shy and would do best in a calm and quiet home.
Beau is neutered, litter box trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.
Find out more about Beau on our website, kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent. Just a reminder – we’ll be closed on Tuesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday. Seasons Greetings to your family from all of us at RASKC!
