Pet of the Week: Hans
Looking very festive in his latest photo is Hans, our Pet of the Week!
This quirky guy can be a lot of fun, but does take some time to connect to new people. He is full of energy and loves to play – so we call him one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets. Hans tends to calm down more when people around him stay calm, and he does best when he has a lot of exercise and something to keep his mind busy.
Hans may not get along with other dogs or small animals in the home, so he may do best as the only pet, and in a home with no children. He may get nervous in new situations, so is looking for a family who understands he may take some time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, Hans will be a very devoted friend!
Hans is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.
You can find out more about Hans on our website, www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
We hope to see you soon!
