Pet of the Week: Audrey

Perk up your ears, because Audrey is here!

Our Pet of the Week is a young Chihuahua mix that loves people and getting attention. Since she’s such an attention-grabber, Audrey would prefer being the only dog in the house.

Audrey is good on a leash and loves going for walks. Although not very interested in treats, she does enjoy a good scratch and petting session.

She is currently being treated for an ear infection, but should be okay once that clears up. Audrey would do best in a home with older children who know not to poke fingers in her mouth or face.

Audrey is currently at our Eastside Pet Adoption Center, 12040 NE 85th St. inside Kirkland Petco.

If you’re looking for a sweet girl to be your only dog to shower with love, then Audrey could be the one for you! Audrey is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee includes a 30-day trial of pet health insurance through Trupanion – and if you adopt Audrey this Saturday during the statewide Animal Shelter Open House, we’ll take 50% off the fee!

You can find out more about Audrey on our website at www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet.
