Pet of the Week: Zoe

We have a very special kitty for Pet of the Week: meet Zoe!

The name “Zoe” means the act of being grand, wonderful… even, well, purr-fect! And while she may not always be perfect, Zoe tries really hard. Zoe is a very sweet, gentle soul with soft silky grey fur that she loves to have groomed (hint). She also loves to be held (double hint).

At 13 years old, Zoe has mellowed out a lot, and wants you to know that the needs of older cats are a lot like humans – all they really need is a warm lap, regular meals, and a little love!

Zoe is an FIV+ kitty, so even though she has many good years ahead of her, she will need to be an only cat, or her other cat companions will need to be FIV+ as well.

She is litter-box trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped… all ready for a new home. Zoe’s adoption fee includes a free visit to a veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of pet health insurance through Trupanion.

If you’re looking a lovable purring furball to curl up happily in your lap at night (or any other time for that matter), come meet Zoe in person at the King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent or online at www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. We (and Zoe) hope to see you soon!
