I had the pleasure of giving a tour of the shelter to this local Girl Scout Brownie Troop #45329. They were such a fun group of girls who had lots of questions and were very interested in the workings of the shelter and in seeing the animals. They even made some cat scratchers with their leftover cookie boxes to donate to the shelter. This troop is from the Springbrook area of Kent and is led by Jennifer Hardy. Thanks so much girls for your enthusiasm, donation, respectful behavior, and for your interest in the shelter. I heard several of them say they wanted to come back with their families to share in their experience.
