Big smiler Dozer is our Pet of the Week!

This senior shepherd mix was abandoned at a home that was being sold. A very nice lady brought him to RASKC to find a new and loving forever home.

Dozer likes going for walks and knows how to sit on command! He even takes treats gently and loves meeting new people. Dozer has lived with other dogs and a cat before, so he should do well with other pets you may have.

Dozer has a skin condition that made some of his fur fall out. He is being treated, and his fur will eventually grow back. Until then, his skin is sensitive to the sun, so he will need sunscreen when going outside. He may also need to be on a special diet to help keep the dermatitis under control.

If you have kids, Dozer would do best in a home with teenagers who will understand that while he is still playful, he shouldn’t be rough-housed with. He is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee includes a trial membership to Trupanion pet health insurance.

Looking for a sweet, happy older gentleman to join your family? Dozer could be the one for you! See his profile on our website at www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or come visit him and his pals in person at our Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
