Let us introduce you to Sinjo, our Pet of the Week!

This five-year-old Siberian Husky mix came to us because his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. Sinjo is considered a large breed dog. Right now, he weighs 93 pounds, down from 106. Fortunately, he loves going for walks, so healthy weight loss and maintenance shouldn’t be a problem.

Sinjo is a super sweet boy who doesn’t ask for much. He’s affectionate and will never turn down a butt scratch. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys playing with toys, and also keeps his kennel nice and clean.

Did we mention that he loves people? Sinjo enjoys spending time with our staff and volunteers, and has done well meeting new folks. He also seems to get along well with other large dogs. As always, when meeting dogs in a new home, a slow introduction is best. Whether it’s walking on a trail or cuddling up at home, Sinjo is happy when his people are happy.
