Pet of the Week: Addison

Golden girl Addison is our Pet of the Week!

This senior dilute tortie was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center by a good Samaritan earlier this month.

Addison is very affectionate and adaptable. She would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! Potential adopters should note that Addison has chronic kidney disease, so she drinks a lot of water. She also has anemia, and severe tartar buildup on her teeth. These conditions will need to be monitored by a veterinarian. Despite her challenges, Addison still has a lot of love to give.

Can you give Addison the fur-ever home she craves? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, Addison’s adoption fee is reduced, although a pet license fee may still apply.

Her adoption comes with many benefits, including the opportunity to enroll in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes!

Stop by the King County Pet Adoption Center to meet Addison and all her furry friends. We’re located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Pet adoption hours are noon to 4 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. weekends. You can see all the animals we have for adoption on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions, contact us at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or pets@kingcounty.gov.
