Pet of the Week: Alvin
This beautiful boy is Alvin, our Pet of the Week!
Alvin was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center by a good Samaritan in mid-June. At 90 pounds, this three-year-old German Shepherd is considered a large breed dog.
Alvin is very affectionate, with lots of energy to spare. He does best when he gets lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy. He is still working on his best doggy manners, so he would probably do best in a home with adults, or with older children. A big backyard with lots of room to run would be great!
Are you ready to welcome Alvin into your heart and home? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Alvin’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
The King County Pet Adoption Center is open weekdays from noon to 5 p.m. and weekends noon to 4 p.m. for walk-in adoptions. We’re located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. You can see all of the pets we have available for adoption anytime online at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions about Alvin, or any of our adoptable pets, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or pets@kingcounty.gov.
