Pet of the Week: Charlie Bucket
Everyone needs a good stretch now and then – just like our Pet of the Week, Charlie Bucket!
This two-year-old orange tabby was brought in by a good Samaritan in early May. This young boy likes getting attention on his own terms, so he is one of our “Rambunctious Red” personality pets. Charlie Bucket can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with him and keep an eye out for signs that he might need a break.
Caregivers at the shelter have noticed that Charlie Bucket doesn’t seem to get along with other cats, so he may do best as the only cat in his new home. Charlie Bucket is a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality, but he may be sensitive to handling. We think he would do best in a home with a cat-savvy family who knows when to give him some space.
Could Charlie Bucket be your golden ticket? Come visit him at our Pet Adoption Center and find out! He is neutered, litterbox trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since he is our Pet of the Week, Charlie Bucket’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits of pet licensing at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
Come visit Charlie Bucket, or any of our adoptable pets, at the King County Pet Adoption Center, located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
