Pet of the Week: Luna
Let a little light into your life with Luna, our Pet of the Week!
This beautiful six-year-old girl came to us because she did not get along with the other kitties in her previous home.
Luna enjoys lounging around and would love a warm, sunny window sill. Once she is comfortable around you, Luna loves getting gentle pets. She has a calming energy that makes people feel more peaceful just by watching her. Don’t let that fool you, though – Luna also enjoys using her natural hunting instincts to snatch up long rope toys!
Luna is the definition of a “sassy” or “diva” cat, as she doesn’t love to be touched a whole lot – she wants attention on her own terms. She can get overstimulated, and will occasionally give a little swat to communicate “give me some space.” Since her personality color is “Rambunctious Red,” we believe she would do best in a cat-savvy home that will worship Luna for who she is.
Luna has been spayed and microchipped. Her adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she is our Pet of the Week, her adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply.
You can find out more about Luna and her other friends looking for new homes on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. Adoptions continue by appointment only, so make a reservation online. For more information, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
