Pet of the Week: Jerri
We’d like to introduce you to Jerri, our Pet of the Week!
This young girl was brought to us by a good Samaritan in late September. She had not had much interaction with people until she met our shelter staff. Jerri is generally a shy cat who loves to find the best hiding spots. She does enjoy the company of other cats though, and would love to have a mentor cat to show her how to be a bit more social.
Since she’s pretty shy, Jerri is one of our “Bashful Blue” personality pets. She is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. Jerri may get nervous in new situations, so she is looking for a family who understands that she might need some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you, though, Jerri will be a very devoted friend!
Jerri is litter box trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she was nominated for Pet of the Week, her adoption fee has been waived! However, a pet license fee may still apply. Pet licenses help a safe return home should Jerri become lost, and come with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home, and more. Check out all the benefits at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
