Pet of the Week: Taser
Need a snuggle buddy for those cold winter nights? We’d like to suggest Taser, our Pet of the Week!
Taser is an eight-year-old brown tabby looking for his “fur-ever home.” His personality color is Bashful Blue, meaning he is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. Taser might need some time to warm up to new people and new environments. Once he feels comfortable with you, though, he will really come out of his shell!
Taser likes being petted on his head and neck. He can be sensitive further down his back, but don’t let that fool you: this affectionate boy just loves being petted. Just give him a few minutes and he will be purring and kneading like a pro!
Taser has shared his room with several other cats at the shelter and he seems to get along with them. He would do best with a slow introduction if there are any other cats in his new home.
Like all pets from RASKC, Taser is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.
You can find out more about Taser on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent. The center is open Monday thru Friday noon to 6 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m.
