Pet of the Week: Kingston

This regal-looking fellow is Kingston, our Pet of the Week!

Kingston is a German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix who is smart, playful, and protective of his people. Since he’s so spirited and fun-loving, he’s one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets. He is full of energy and loves to play, and would do best in a home where he gets lots of exercise and something to keep his mind busy. Kingston can also be an independent boy who likes to do his own thing, and tends to stay calm when those around him are calm. He may not get along with other dogs and may do best as the only dog in his new home. Due to his high energy, Kingston may also do best in a home without young children.

Kingston is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.

You can find out more about Kingston on our website, kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
