Pet of the Week: Yoda

Looking for a furry companion are you, hmm? The one you seek Pet of the Week Yoda could be.

This six-year-old pittie is a loving and playful boy. Yoda is a very smart dog who has shown his caregivers he already knows how to “sit,” “stay,” and “come.”

His previous owners did a lot of training with him, and he is very well behaved around people. Although he’s a “Bashful Blue” pet, he may not get along well with other dogs. He may do best as the only dog in his new home, or need to meet other dogs in your home before being adopted. Yoda may also get nervous in new situations, so he will need a family who understands he may take some time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, Yoda will be a very devoted friend!

Yoda is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit with a WSVMA-affiliated veterinarian and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.

You can find out more about Yoda on our website at www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him in person at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
