This handsome gentleman is Mark, our Pet of the Week!

Mark is a younger Akita mix who is very energetic and loves to run. He’s full of energy, so he’s one of our “Rambunctious Red” pets. While he loves to play, Mark does tend to calm down more when people around him stay calm.

Mark does best when he has lots of exercise and something to keep his mind busy. Because he’s such a high-spirited dog, he would do best as the only pet in an adults-only home. He can be a bit stubborn sometimes, and needs a confident and patient owner who will work with him.

Since he’s a younger dog, Mark is still working on his manners, but with the right home we’re sure he’ll become the best dog he can be. Mark’s adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.
