Pet of the Week: Mikey

You’ll like Mikey, our Pet of the Week!

This young boy is a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality. He was recently dropped off by a good samaritan so that he could find a new, permanent home.

Mikey is what we call “Rambunctious Red,” and may be a little sensitive to being handled too much. We think he would do best with a cat-savvy family who knows when to give him some space. He’s an independent kitty who just likes to do his own thing sometimes.

Mikey is FIV+ and would need to be an indoor-only kitty, and either an only kitty or in a home with other FIV+ kitties. He’s litter box trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.

You can find out more about Mikey on our website, www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him and his buddies at our Pet Adoption Center in Kent.
