Get ready to fall in love with our Pet of the Week, Rhino.

This sweet older guy would love a home where he’ll get lots of walks and snuggle time on the couch. Rhino knows how to sit on command, takes treats gently, and is good on a leash.

Rhino was brought in because his previous family could no longer care for him. He can be overly interested in other dogs and a bit pushy at times, so it would be best to have Rhino meet any new companions prior to being adopted, just to make sure their personalities match. He would also do best with a slow introduction. Because of his initial shy nature, Rhino would do best in a calm and quiet home. As is common in older dogs, Rhino has some dental disease that will need to get checked out by your veterinarian. Rhino also had a tumor removed from his right rear leg that will also need to be monitored.

If you’re looking for a sweet boy to become part of your family, Rhino could be the one for you! Rhino is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.
