Pet of the Week: Murray

Valentine’s Day isn’t too far away – and this frisky fellow is looking for someone to love!

Our Pet of the Week Murray is a young Siamese mix. He has a gentle and quiet purr and he loves to be petted head to tail. While Murray is a bit skittish when you reach over him, he still loves attention! Murray also likes the base of his tail gently scratched, as well as under his neck.

Murray recently had eye surgery due to a cut on his eyelid, but it’s healing well. He is also FIV+, so he will need to be an indoor-only cat, and either be an only kitty or live with other FIV+ kitties. (And if you didn’t know, cats that are FIV+ can live just as long as other kitties!)

This loveable guy is litterbox trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet health insurance through Trupanion.

Come see Murray, and all of our love-bugs, at the Pet Adoption Center in Kent, or online at www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. We’ll see you soon!
