Pet of the Week: Felicia
Hi, Felicia!
Our Pet of the Week is a six-year-old tabby who loves to give headbutts and rubs, and has a quiet purr.
While she’s not fond of being held, Felicia does love to be petted, and especially enjoys having her head, neck, and behind her ears gently scratched. She can also be a talker at times and will quietly say “Hi” to visitors.
Felicia has ataxia, which is a condition that affects the coordination in her back end. It has improved slightly during her stay with us, and she gets around just fine!
If you’re interested in adopting Felicia, be aware that she would do best in a home with older children. The staff at the Pet Adoption Center will be happy to answer any questions when you come for a visit.
Felicia is litter box trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at the veterinarian of your choice, and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.
You can find out more about Felicia on our website, http://www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or come visit her at our Kent location, 21615 64th Ave. S.
We hope to see you soon!
