A new look for Toby!
UPDATE: Toby was adopted on October 8!
Congratulations, and Happy Tails!
Toby came in to our shelter scared and terribly matted. Because he was so matted, it was painful to be touched and even to walk, as his hair was constantly pulling on his skin, this caused him to be quite grumpy (understandably). Luckily we have awesome people in our community that came to his rescue!
Ali Garber is a groomer in the community and works for Paws in the Park. She came in over the weekend to give this little guy a makeover. He went from painful and grumpy to a happy little guy who loves to play and snuggle. He is now available for adoption at Regional Animal Services of King County. He would do best in a home with older kids who love to play! But, because he has a difficult history, he would do best with a dog savvy family that can help him to build confidence and trust. He is very interested in other dogs and would do well with cats if introduced properly. He was terrific for his grooming and is now looking quite dapper!
