A happy guy deserves a happy home!

Our Pet of the Week Tommy is a young Chihuahua mix. He’s an active little guy who loves going for walks and exploring yards.

Tommy is good on a leash and would love to be part of an active home where he will get lots of walks! He likes to meet new people if he’s with someone he trusts, or they approach him with a calm and slow demeanor, allowing him to get comfortable with them.

Tommy can be dominant with other dogs, and will need to meet any other dogs currently in your home before being adopted, just to make sure everyone gets along. He would also do best in a home with children at least ten years or older, who understand they need to be gentle with Tommy and approach him calmly and slowly so he doesn’t get frightened.
